Our Candles

It’s our mission to produce only the cleanest, high quality, untainted candles. The subtle aromas from lighting your new candle come from certified pure therapeutic grade essential oils that have no added fillers, synthetic ingredients or harmful contaminants. Our pure soy wax candles are hand poured into glass jars, each finished by hand by our skilled artisan candle makers. We hope you enjoy your candle as much as we did making it :)

As the essential oils we use are capable of having a therapeutic effect, we have chosen blends not just based on their smell but also their therapeutic effect when your candle is burning.

Candle Care:

We have taken time and care to ensure we are creating candles that are safe to use in your homes. Here are some tips on how to continue to care for your candle to keep it safe and also get the most out of it.

When you light our candles try and let it burn for at least 2 hours, or until the top layer has melted completely to the edges, this will help prevent tunnelling of the candle. Burning time shouldn’t exceed 4 hours consecutively. Burning for longer periods of time can cause the wick to move/ slant.

Burn your candle within sight and never near anything that can catch fire. Your candle should be burnt on a level, fire resistant surface, that won’t be damaged by any heat that would occur for prolonged periods of candle burning. Ensure you keep the wax pool clear of any foreign materials including matches and wick trimmings.

In between lighting your candle ensure you clip your wick to 5mm (while wax is set) this will prevent high flames that produce more smoke and soot.

When your candle is coming to an end, stop burning when about 10mm wax is left at the bottom – a lit flame with little/no wax can cause the jar to shatter from the heat.

To clean your jar you can either, melt the remaining wax by popping the jar in a bowl/pan containing boiling water – once the wax is fully melted, pour into a napkin to solidify and then throw in the bin. Alternatively, you can place the jar in the freezer and the wax will contract – then you can use a butter knife or spoon to lightly lift or break up the wax and then throw it in the bin.

** ALWAYS discard of any unused wax in the bin and NOT pour it down the sink as it will solidify causing blockages. **
